Colette:<\/strong> Hello, and welcome to Called to Queer, where we hold space for the queer Mormon women, gender queer and intersex experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead of our traditional podcast episode where we interview somebody, today, we just want to take a time for a few announcements. Holidays have been a little crazy trying to do interviews. And we wanted to update you on some new and exciting things happening on our podcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First off, we are now accepting donations for the podcast. We want to thank our dedicated listener, Mary-Carmen, who suggested this to us. We’d been a little hesitant, but we know that some people want to give back in other ways. And this is one way that listeners, if you would like to, you can donate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Of course, this is still going to always be a free podcast. You do not have to pay anything. But if you would like to donate, you can go to calledtoqueer.com<\/a> and there’s a donate button on the top of the homepage. By clicking that, that takes you to our [00:01:00] Ko-Fi page<\/a>, where you can donate either with PayPal or through Stripe with your credit card. The donations will go right to keeping this podcast going. There are ongoing costs of a podcast, even when it’s free, as far as hosting and our editing software. And eventually we will want to be able to hire an editor, hopefully, so that Kate and I can focus on our other advocacy areas and life events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, again, this there’s absolutely no pressure, but we will be asking for donations in our outro each week, moving forward. And we just wanted to let you know that yes, we are accepting donations and that is how you can do it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And then I wanted to announce that I am finally getting around to starting an email list<\/a> for my business. Some of you may know, I have done some retreats. I have another retreat planned in February. I have some other ideas of business things I want to do to help people in this queer Mormon space. But I know that sometimes people miss seeing things on [00:02:00] Instagram, and so I’m wanting to create an email list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, if you want to join that, please go to the link in our transcripts, or in the episode notes of this show. And you’ll be able to join that and be able to get emails from me as far as things I have coming up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So that felt a little self promotiony, but hope you’ll forgive us for this shorter episode. Hope you are enjoying the holidays as best you can. We know that this time of year can be a lot. And sometimes being with family can be a lot, if that is part of your holidays, or not being with family can be a lot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I heard the idea of, instead of it being “the most wonderful time of the year,” it’s just the most. There’s a lot of emotions, a lot of feelings, a lot of stuff going on. It’s just the most and hope you’re taking care of yourself as best you can and we’ll be back next week with one of our regularly scheduled episodes. we’ll talk to you then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
